Murray Chevrolet Cadillac Lethbridge is currently seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.

This position is ideal for an experienced automotive technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and preparing vehicles for resale.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform Certified and AMVIC inspections on dealership-owned used vehicles.
• Complete repairs approved as a result of inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Perform vehicle repairs and reconditioning efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard and verify the effectiveness of work performed.
• Clearly document inspection findings and recommended repairs.
• Complete repair orders accurately and in accordance with dealership policies and applicable requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Used Vehicle and Service teams to ensure vehicles are ready for sale.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or in a similar role is required.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous experience performing vehicle inspections is an asset.
• Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification is considered an asset.
• AMVIC inspection experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Hourly or flat time pay options available.
• Full-time position.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
• Consistent weekday schedule.
