We are currently seeking an Automotive Financial Services Manager to
join our team!

Our Financial Services Manager works closely with our Sales Manager, our
Sales Team, our General Manager/Controller and their customers to facilitate
the financing and purchasing of vehicles, warranties, insurance, and protection
packages. As a team player, the Financial Services Manager strives to develop
collaborative relationships throughout the dealership, conducting
all the financial and legal details of vehicle purchases, warranties,
insurances, and protection packages.
The primary job of the Financial Services Manager is to
secure financing for clients, preferably through one of the dealership’s
in-house finance companies or a partner bank or financing company. Typically,
the Financial Services Manager brings in profits and commissions to the
dealership and play an important role in the sale of each vehicle by providing
excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the sales team and
accounting team members and is familiar with the procedures in both these
departments.
- Utilization of dealership
management systems and procedures to deliver exceptional customer service
- Collaborates with customers to arrange for
financing and to finalize purchases, presenting to customers extended
service contracts and other owner protection programs during completion of
the sales contract. Finalizes contracts down to the point of signatures,
while at the same time working to set up extended service contracts and
insurance arrangements.
- Promote all the
additional features and benefits of services and products the dealership
offers to customers and selling mechanical
repair service contracts, GAP insurance, credit/loan insurance and other
aftermarket products to clients
- Maintain a current
knowledge of manufacturer products, rebates, financing, leasing and
incentive programs.
- Read, understand and
adhere to all rules, regulations and procedures as required by law, AMVIC,
or by the Murray Auto Group Lethbridge
- Preparation of all documentation contracts, registration,
submission, funding, commissioning, etc. related to all transactions and
sales of vehicles
- Maintain all reports and records as required by the manufacturer,
dealership and suppliers.
- Strive to meet and exceed Financial Services Sales Targets on a
regular basis
- Establish and maintain
strong and professional relationships with all financial institutions,
manufacturer finance centers, third-party vendors, customers, and
co-workers.
Qualifications:
- Have a proven stellar track record in automotive sales or in
automotive finance. A background in finance, competitive sales, or a
proven translatable skill set and experience may be considered.
- Possess outstanding customer service skills
- Target/Achievement Oriented
- Detail-oriented, aptitude for numbers, and analytical skills
- Have a professional demeanor and above-average communication
skills
- Demonstrate an inherent ability to successfully lead, motivate, and
manage others
- Be competent in all matters relating to various lender guidelines,
credit applications, insurance services available, and the vehicle
financing process etc.
- Possess a valid Alberta Driver’s License (Minimum of a Class 5 or
an equivalent license is a job requirement)
